During my recent stay at the Dockside Motel over Easter, I found myself immersed in the rich history and breathtaking scenery of the Northern Peninsula. The location, right beside the Labrador Ferry terminal, couldn't be more convenient, allowing for seamless travel to explore the captivating history of the area, especially the Basque whaling artifacts nearby. Our suite was spacious, clean, and came with incredibly comfortable beds-ideal after a day of cycling along the stunning fjords and serene beaches. I particularly relished the home-cooked meals at Dockers Diner, notably the decadent Bakeappleberry pie-an absolute must-try! In between our excursions, we enjoyed relaxing outside with coffee, soaking up the views of St Barbe Bay. The staff were friendly and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home in this remote yet beautiful corner of Canada. For anyone intrigued by history, nature, and a touch of comfort, Dockside Motel is truly a gem!
